Gain practical experience alongside experienced commercial real estate Advisors, contribute to real projects, and learn how a commercial real estate brokerage operates. Interns will be exposed to market research, property analysis, sales, leasing, marketing, and client support.

About SVN | Northern Commercial

SVN International Corp. is a national commercial real estate organization with offices across the country specializing in commercial real estate brokerage. Our Carmel office combines the resources of a national platform with the mentorship and collaborative culture of a local team.

At SVN | Northern Commercial, interns work directly alongside experienced Advisors and operations professionals in a hands-on environment. Our goal is to provide meaningful industry exposure while helping students develop skills for their future careers.

What You’ll Do

Assist experienced Advisors with commercial property sales, leasing, and market research
Research and analyze commercial properties, comparable properties, and market trends
Prepare client presentations, property proposals, marketing materials, and other brokerage materials
Gain exposure to office, industrial, retail, land, and multifamily properties
Participate in property tours, client meetings, and other brokerage activities as appropriate
Assist with property listings, marketing platforms, and commercial real estate technology
Support business development, prospecting, and administrative projects
Complete individual and team projects designed to deepen your understanding of commercial real estate
Learn how transactions progress from initial opportunity through closing

Qualifications

Current college student or recent graduate interested in commercial real estate, business, finance, marketing, or a related field
Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills
Self-motivated, coachable, and eager to learn
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team
